🌾 Buckwheat 

High in some minerals such as Zinc, Iron, and Selenium. These minerals can provide certain health benefits to dogs who may have previously lacked them. In particular, Iron can benefit a dog’s blood health, and Zinc can improve its immune system.

🌾 Wholewheat Flour 

Is safe for your dog providing they have no wheat allergies.

🌾 Oatmeal 

A good source of fibre, making it great for dogs with bowel irregularity issues, and also safe for dogs with wheat allergies. 

 Carrots

An excellent low-calorie snack that is high in fibre and beta-carotene, which produces vitamin A.

🥔 Sweet potatoes 

These root vegetables are loaded with nutrients, such as the carotenoids, vitamin C and vitamin A, in addition to antioxidants and phytochemicals. They are high in pyridoxine, potassium, fibre and magnesium.

If your dog isn’t feeling well, sweet potato can help their tummy settle.

🍎 Apples 

Can help keep your dog’s teeth clean and their breath fresh. 

🥥 Coconut Oil 

Makes a dog’s coat extra shiny. Can relieve allergies and itchy skin. Kicks bad breath.

🥜 Peanut Butter

In moderation can be an excellent source of protein and healthy fats, vitamins B and E, and niacin. When sourcing ours we made sure only to use peanut butter that is natural and most important safe for our furry friends. 

Xylitol is a sugar substitute often found in sugar-free products like chewing gum, toothpaste, breath mints, chewable vitamins and baked goods. It is safe for people, but toxic to dogs.

Xylitol consumption causes a rapid release of insulin in dogs, which results in an equally rapid and profound decrease in blood sugar levels, and can be life threatening if left untreated. 

🍌 Bananas 

Veterinarians have recommended a banana as a healthy alternative to fatty, salty treats. The fruit is also high in fiber, which can help if your dog is having gastrointestinal problems, and magnesium, which promotes bone growth and helps the body produce protein and absorb vitamins.

🥚Eggs 

Are perfectly safe for dogs, great source of nutrition for your canine companion. They are high in protein, fatty acids and vitamins. Fatty acids helps to support your dog inside and out.
